We are preparing the 12th
International Seminar "Track
Maintenance Machines in Theory and in Practice - SETRAS 2004", which
will take place on October 13 - 14, 2004 at the University of Zilina under the auspices Rector of the University of Zilina Prof. Ing. Ján Bujnak, PhD. and General director
of ZSR Ing. Roman Veselka.
The aim of the Seminar
is to bring information to participants about state and perspectives of
development in the field of track maintenance machines, small and heavy
machinery for track construction and maintenance, track measurement devices and
cars, track diagnostics etc.
Programme committee expects your
paper concerning the areas mentioned above. The papers will be published in the
Proceedings of the Seminar. If you are interested in giving a paper, please
fill in enclosed participation form (with summary of your paper) and return it
till May 7, 2004 at the address:

We expect submitting of the full text of paper (max. 10 pages including
pictures, format B5) in English by July
9, 2004.
Full text of paper (WordPerfect,
MSWord) and also pictures (*.wpg, *.pcx, *.bmp, *.tif, *.cdr, *.plt etc.) should be sent
to us on diskette or by e-mail. One printed copy of your paper in the form in
which will be published should be enclosed in addition to the diskette or
e-mail. Exceptionally it is possible to accept typed papers and figures or
graphs in camera ready quality. Detailed instruction how to write paper will be
send to you by May 31, 2004.
Invitation form with detailed
information about the Seminar will be sent to you by August 10, 2004. Further
information about the Seminar SETRAS 2004 you can also obtain at the http://www.vtszu.sk, which will
be prepared before long.
We offer to firms the possibility of
presentation and advertising its products and services at the Seminar in
various form (advertisement in Proceedings of Seminar, miniexhibition
etc.). If your firm is interested in presenting yourself at the Seminar, please
let us to know it as soon as possible.

Seminar
objectives:
The International Seminar SETRAS
2004 is organized for railway workers, urban transport and factory transport
workers, manufacturers and users of track maintenance machines and its
components, research, development workers, designers, universities staff and
people interested in research, development, design, testing, technology,
operation and maintenance of track maintenance machines.
The aim of the Seminar is to bring
information to participants about state and perspectives of development in the
field of track maintenance machines, small and heavy machinery for track
construction and maintenance, track measurement devices and cars etc.
This year the preferred topics of the Seminar are machinery for
modernised railway track, rail/road vehicles, equipment for diagnostics of
railway track (track recording cars, rail profile measuring equipment, rail
flaw detection systems, measuring of rail support stiffness etc.) and measuring
and guiding systems for track maintenance machines.
Further aim of the Seminar SETRAS
2004 is to offer to the firms possibility of presentation its products and
services.
